All Saints Church, WP, Involvement in Honduras

All Saints Episcopal Church in Winter Park,  FL sent a Work Team to El Hogar  for a week in May 2011. The dozen members lived and worked and played with the  children on the premises of the Home of Love and Hope.  It was a transforming experience to witness the children’s faith in God who is personal and present each day as the children attend school, do chores, attend chapel and play sports.  Being present with these children from the streets and to witness their joy and thanksgiving for their opportunity to be surrounded by love at El Hogar is a humbling experience.

All Saints Episcopal Church of Winter Park with support from St. Michael’s Episcopal Church , Orlando, participated in the second annual Walkathon October 29, 2011  at All Saints Church with all proceeds going to the support of the children of El Hogar.
